This wasn't an intended reply, just can't be bothered going back and changing it

But surprise surprise the reviews are now making their way on to google (as of a couple days ago), and 90% rate this game awefull, the worst I've seen it was rated terrible. something like a 2.7 out of 10. Just backs up what I said

Agreed AK. Shame so many people don't understand this is Bigants first crack at this. Sure there is so much more that could have been included but I personally think they've done an outstanding job given the expectations I went in with, so if Sidhe somehow get given the reigns for the next version I'd hope they get this gameplay engine to work with, it really is the best engine for a Rugby League game ever and it can get so much better.

I do understand that it's their first crack, I also hope that it's their last. I just can't get over how terrible it is to look at

I'd try it but having enough trouble as it as putting men in a gap with the limited screen width (not really just taking a shot at the ridiculous screen width)

Well this is what it comes down to I guess. If you're the purely superficial type, then this game just won't do it for you. But whatever, they got the part that SHOULD matter right: the game play. The graphics and franchise mode can come later.

I aint superficial mate. There are good aspects to this game and I've admitted that. But the cons, as I have pointed, far, far, faaaaar outweigh the pros

How good is the game play when you want to scoot right and the hooker goes left? How good is it when you want to go wide straight from hooker, yet he is programmed to go straight... then go wide? How good is it with those unresponsive defense controls? You want more?

how good is it when you can win on medium consistantly
how good is it winning the premiership with the lowly ranked raiders on MEDIUM
know how these feel fezza? - the gameplay is the best thing about the game, your just in the period of hate we all went thru until we learnt the intricacies that work in this game to succeed on harder levels.
i got smashed 14 games in a row on medium, and was ready to take it back - but seeing the back of campese are every retstart fired up the blood within
nowadays i only see this at kickoff and see the back of my opponents at restarts

Look dude, I personally don't care what you think. You don't like it? Fine. Rugby League isn't soccer or football. It's a niche sport that is so small, the only country to have it as their official national sport is PNG.
You want it to be better? Put up the money.
Otherwise, go play FIFA and Madden and stop whining.

I didn't say they don't. I just told him I didn't really give a toss when he started arguing that the game was crap because it wasn't pretty. It's fine to criticise, but it's better if people can be even a tiny bit constructive.

Well that's a bit of a narrow minded comment because I care what other people think, you have to take a step back and look at the whole picture as I have done, with my criticisms and my praises for this game. Did yo read that??? CRITICISMS and PRAISES

I've admitted that I like a few things, but heaps is missing from RL2.. Customization, Franchise mode to name a few. The game play is good and bad, unfortunately more bad than good. The graphics FOR ME are lacking big time which FOR ME hinge on everything inc game play.

You don't care what I think then why reply?

I've heard so many excuses "oh it was their first crack at it" "oh they didn't have enough money" "oh their market isn't the biggest" while all of these are true, you can't mask up a poorly presented game... Period
